Therapy Thoughts

1.

leaking batteries, tangled wires,

rusted, cracked,

connected to nothing but the past.

2.

too many bad poems clogging the drain,

backed up, old, rotting memories.

we need acid

wit

to wash it all away.

3.

i return again to

the compost heap of mistakes

that has fertilized so much

joy.
